1 January '16 - The couple who stayed in Room 5 last night said that about 9pm, the wife was in the shower and the husband was in the green rocking chair reading. He hear what sounded like a child run across the carpet in front of him. He was quiet surprised by it. During the night, they both felt a cat jump onto the bed and settle down by their feet. But when they looked, nothing was there. I guess Josephine liked them.

16 February '16 - Chuck and I just got back from a week in Denver, Colorado. We attended a Ghost Hunt class with Chris Moon and Paulette at the Historic Molly Brown House in Denver. It was great! We talked to Margaret Brown (she was never called Molly in life, that came from the movie. She prefers to be called Margaret.) She was thrilled to have so many visitors to her house, although the staff spirits were very confused because it was after "calling" hours. She does not think she should be famous for surviving the Titanic, it was just one more thing that happened to her during her life. During the Telephone to the Dead session, our Harold came through to say Hi. He said that 70 of our spirits from the Inn had followed us and wanted to know when we would be returning. President Lincoln also came through to say Hi to Chuck. As a personal experience, I felt my shoulder brushed in the second floor hallway, like somebody had passed me rather closely. But when I looked to see who I bumped into, there was nobody near enough to me to brush up against me. During the TttD session, I asked about the incident and was told that Johanna had touched me. In her bedroom there was a treadle sewing machine and I had commented that I had one almost exactly like it that I use to make quilts. She wanted me to know that she liked my comment. Chuck and I had brought along our EMF meter and had turned it on every night at the B&B we stayed at, and put it on the bed side table near Chuck. (The B&B would rather we did not say it's name.) Every night, between 2am and 5am, the meter would beep, indicating that something was near by. The first night, about 15 minutes after ours beeped, we heard beeping in another room too! They had brought an EMF meter too! That's funny. Chris and Paulette brought their TttD to our room on Friday night and we found out a little girl named Stacey liked to visit the people sleeping in the beds. There was also a woman named Elizabeth who was earthbound and did not want to cross over. She said there were "complications" and we should just leave her alone. Stacey said there was also a boy named Andrew who inhabited the B&B but she did not say anything more about him. About 30 minutes after Chris left, the EMF meter on the dresser when crazy! It beeped for about 20 minutes before we finally turned it off. I took video with my tablet and there were orbs all over the place! Even coming in under the door! It was a great trip! Chris and Paulette will be doing another investigation of the Molly Brown House on Aug. 6, and I highly recommend it.

22 February '16 - It has been pretty quiet here lately. Chuck and I are still in Room 1, but there have been no noises up in Room 6. Guests have not been reporting any activity either. Until last night. A family stayed in Room 5 last night and they had several small things happen. The commode dresser by the big bed has clothes hangers on the wall hooks. About 9:30pm, the hangers started swinging for no apparent reason. No windows were open, no fan was on, no reason for the hangers to move. The mother in the bathroom heard three knocks on the bathroom door, but none of the other people in the room and done it. About midnight, the daughter was sitting on the floor talking to her mother in the big bed, she had her feet under the big bed, and she felt a tingling in her toes but she could not find any reason for it. During the night, the mother in the big bed, twice felt a cat jump onto the bed and lay down beside her, but when she felt for it, nothing was there. They were thrilled to have something happen that was not scary.

1 March '16 - Chris Moon and his mother, Paulette, were here this past weekend for another of their fabulous Ghost Hunter classes. Although room activity was pretty quiet, the ladies in Room 7 reported hearing tapping sounds coming from the various walls of their room. During the Telephone to the Dead (TttD) sessions, we talked to Justice Scalia who passed away a few weeks prior. He said he was murdered! He said a woman, whom he did not know, came into his hotel room and murdered him and then put a pillow on his face to make it look like he suffocated. But that was not what happened. He had not gone to the Light yet because he wanted to tell somebody his story. Once he told us what he knew, he went on to the Light. After dinner on Saturday night, Chuck and I gave a short presentation about the Molly Brown House investigation. During the presentation, Chuck felt very cold and Chris took a picture of him. There is a very large, bright orb sitting on his shoulder.
