January 21 ......... Ugly Sweater Party and Game Night -  Wear your favorite Ugly Sweater and bring a munchie to share.  We will play board games and card games in the dining room while munching the munchies.  Prizes for best (worst) Ugly sweater and for the most games won.  Reservations required.  319-592-3133

March 4 .....................Ghost Hunting Class - Chris Moon holds a class on ghost hunting.  3pm to 8pm.  Reservations required. 319-592-3133

April 15..........................Bentonsport Open House - Stores open for the season!

May 6 .....................Ghost Hunting Class - Chris Moon holds a class on ghost hunting.  3pm to 8pm.  Reservations required. 319-592-3133

May 27, 28 & 29........Memorial Day Weekend Spring Fest -  Crafts, antiques, gifts, demonstrations and food.  New Vendors welcomed.   Call 319-592-3579.

June 10 .........Strawberry Festival -  In Farmington. Booths, crafts, car show, Fun Run, FREE ice cream with strawberries.

August 5 .....................Ghost Hunting Class - Chris Moon holds a class on ghost hunting.  3pm to 8pm. Reservations required 319-592-3133

August 19 & 20........Bike Van Buren - Tour the county from the seat of your bike.  The Mason House Inn is a great, centrally located place to stay overnight.  Call 1-800-868-7822 for more information and registration.

September 2 ...... Bentonsport Heritage Day - Shop keepers will be in period dress.  Tour the historic homes.

September 16 & 17..........End of Summer Motorcycle Rally - Held at the Van Buren Fair Grounds in Keosauqua.  Stay at the Mason House Inn for peace and quiet, just a quick 5 miles away from the hub-bub of Keosauqua. 

October 14& 15..........Bentonsport Riverfest and Arts Festival - Artwork for display and sale, food, and music.  Make your reservations early at the Mason House Inn.  We fill up fast for this event.

October 14 & 15.........Van Buren County Scenic Drive and Bentonsport Antique Show - Make your reservations early at the Mason House Inn.  We fill up fast for this weekend event.  Rooms are full at this time, but taking a waiting list in case of cancellation.

October  28.............Halloween Dinner and Ghost Stories at the Mason House Inn - Reservations required.  Bring your appetite and a digital camera.  Hear stories about the haunted Mason House Inn.   Reservations required.  319-592-3133

December 2............."Christmas in the Villages" - A Bentonsport Country Christmas - Unique holiday gifts.

December 9...............Bentonsport Shops close for the winter - (Iron & Lace will open upon special request.  Some shops in Bonaparte stay open on weekends.  Mason House Inn is open ALL YEAR.)
