This weekend, Christopher Moon had brought a new device to try.  It has a small video screen filled with "snow" and the idea is that the spirit can enter the device and show himself through the video screen.  We tried it in Room 5 on Saturday night and in the Dining Room on Sunday night.  We recorded the sessions with a video camera so we could go back later and review the screen to see if anything showed up.  During the sessions, Chris asked the spirits to show themselves on the screen.  When asked, the screen would show flashes of light that interrupted the "snow".   At the time we did not actually see the spirit on the screen but we have not finished reviewing the tapes.  The spirits had fun "posing for the camera".  They talked about making faces for us.  Three little girl spirits were seen twirling their dresses and dancing around the dining room saying "This is fun!"  It was a real party for them.

         May 5, Room 5:

Chris: "Ty, are you ready to go?" ....................'Yeah'

"We have the video running as well as the audio.  Ready to go?" ..............'Ready.  Go'

Chuck: "Ty we would like you to line people up so they can come through the video device one by one.  Does anybody want to try it first?" ................ 'Harold does.'

"Okay, Harold, can you show yourself?" .............. Harold: 'Did you see me?'

"Well, there was a blip.  Was that you?" ................'Yeah'

Chris: "How about if we do it this way.  I'll count to three and then you show yourself on three.  That way we'll know which blip is you.  Are you ready?" ...................'Ready'

"One, two, three." ................. 'Got it.  Did you see it?'

"Yes, we saw it.  Thank you." ................ 'Not a problem.   Amanda wants to go next.'

"Okay, Amanda, are you ready?" ................ Amanda: 'Ready'

"Okay, one, two, three." ....................'Got it.  Did you see my dress?'

"Yes, thank you." ....................... 'Markie wants to try.'

"Okay, Amanda, let's get one more of you then we'll do Markie.  One, two, three." .............. 'Weee.  I made a kissy face.'

"Okay, Markie, your turn.  One, two, three." ....................... Markie: 'I did it.'

"Thank you.  How about General Ford.  Is he here?" ................... Markie: 'No.  He's not here right now.'

"How about Curtis?" ....................... Curtis: 'Inside the house.'

"Can you get your picture taken for us?" ........................'I'll try.'

"One, two, three." ..........................'Fascinating.'

"Thank you.  Amanda, did you go to the Prom with Jinni last weekend?" ................... Amanda: 'I went.  It was fun.'

"What color dress did you wear?" .......................... 'My red one.'   (Jinni went to two proms.  She said Amanda wore a red dress to the first one and a pink one to the second one.)

"Did you have a date?" ........................... 'Two'

"Who did you go with?  What's their names?" ....................... 'Markie and the other one.'

"Was there a Kevin there?" .....................'Yes'

"Is he Jessica's friend like you are Jinni's friend?" ................'Yes.  He was there.'    (Jessica has Down Syndrome too and every time Jinni took a picture of her at the Prom, there was an orb over Jessica's head.  Jinni said that was Kevin.)

"If General Ford comes, we'd like to talk to him." ..................... Harold: 'Okay.  More want to have their picture taken.'

"Okay, just line up and say your name as you come through." ...................... 'I told them.  There's 63 right now.'

"Mary, can you come and show yourself please?" ................... Mary: 'It's demeaning.'    Amanda: 'It's fun.'

"Please, Mary?  One, two, three." ....................... 'There'       (There was a really bright blip.)

"Wow.  That was great.  Thank you." ...................... 'You're welcome.'

"Daniel, are you here?" ........................Daniel: 'Yes'

"Can you get your picture taken please?" ...................... 'I'll try.'

"One, two, three." ............................. 'I did it.'

"Thank you.  How about Anna?" ......................... Anna: 'I'm here.'

"Anna, we understand that you speak German?" .................... 'Yes I did.'

"We are going to go on vacation to Germany soon.  Can you go with us and interpret for us?" ............... Anna: 'I'll try.'         Harold: 'It won't be a problem.'

"Do spirits who spoke other languages in life understand each other on your side?" .................. Harold: 'Ninety-nine percent of the time.'

Chris: "Mr. Edison?  Are you here?  Would you like to have your picture taken?  Could you come try our machine?" ...................... Mr. Edison: 'I'm here.  This is fascinating.   Does it work?'

"We'll see.  One, two, three." ..................... 'Did it work?'

"We'll have to review the tapes later.  There was a bright blip though." ................... 'Fascinating.'    Curtis: 'I thought so too.'

"Is Mr. Lincoln here tonight?" ........................... Mr. Lincoln: 'Yes'

"Would you like to have your picture taken, sir?" ......................'Yes'

"Thank you.  One, two, three." ..................... 'Yes'

"Thank you, sir.  A couple questions for you, sir, before you leave.  When you were traveling as an attorney, did you ever stay at the Ashland House hotel in Bentonsport?" .................... 'Yes.'

"Did you know Dr. Bailey in Vernon?  Was he a friend of yours?" ........................ 'Who?'

"He treated your father in Kentucky." ................... 'Oh.  No.'

"To have your picture taken here, do you have to be physically here or can you do it from another state?" .............'I don't know how it works.'

    The rest of the session was personal messages and more picture taking.

        Sunday, May 6, in the dining room.  We hooked up a camera to a projector so everybody could see it on the big screen.  Then, later we switched to a second camera:

Chris: "Ty, you there?" .................'Yeah.  Can you hear me?'

"Yeah, I can hear you.  We are running the video machine again.  Can you give us a test?" .............'Yeah'

"Oh, yeah, I see it.  Thank you." ..................... 'Good'

Chuck: "Amanda, are you here tonight?" ...............Amanda: 'Hi'

"Amanda, do you want to do pictures again?" .............. 'No'

"What color dress did you wear to the Prom?" .............. 'Pink.  Do you want to see it?'

Chris: "Yeah.  We'd love to see your dress.  Can you show us?  One, two, three." ................ 'Did you see it?'

Chuck: "Thank you.  I'm sure it was pretty.   Did Markie take you?" ...................... 'Yes.  He was so handsome.'

"Did he wear his uniform?" ......................... 'Always'

"Daniel, are you here?" ...................... Daniel: 'I'm always here.'

"Daniel, can you show us your picture?" ................... 'Beep'

"Okay.  How about when I count to three.  One, two, three." ...................'There.  Beep.  Did you see it?'

"Thank you.  Daniel, were you born in 1846?" ................ 'You got it.  In September.'

"Daniel, did you know the Inn was built in July of 1846?  You're as old as the Inn." ............. 'Really?  Wow.'

"Harold, did you put the penny on Darcie's bed today?" ................... 'That was me. '

"Why did you do it?" ........................ 'I don't know.'

"Did it mean anything?" ....................... 'I don't know.'

Chris: "Harold, can you get your picture taken?  We'd love to see you." ................... 'Okay.  Does it work?'

"Thank you.  Wow.  That was good."      (Harold, like Mary, was a very bright blip of light.  The other spirit's blips of light are not as bright.)

Chuck: "Harold, when we asked you in 2005, how many spirits were here and you said 63.  Do you know how many spirits were here in 2001 when we moved in?" ........................... '5'

"When we first moved in there were only 5 spirits here?" ................ 'Yes.  That were active.'

"5 Active ones?   Some weren't active?" ................... 'That's right.'

"Is there a Joanne here?" ........................ 'No'

"Somebody said that Joanne likes to follow me around.  Is that true?" ................... 'That's Jody.'

"Jody?  Not Joanne?" ..........................'That's right.  Jody.  She likes you.'

"Is Jody here?  Can we talk to her?  Why does she like to follow me around?"  .......................Harold: 'She loves you.'    Woman's voice: 'I'm Jody.'

"Hi Jody.  How old are you?" ......................... '29'

"What year did you pass, Jody?" .................... '1965'

"What was your last name?" ................... 'Hess'

"Jody, have you been to the light yet?" ...................... 'Not yet'

"Do you want to go?" ...................... 'Not yet'

"What are you afraid of?" .................... 'Nothing.  Can I get my picture taken?'

"Sure.  Go ahead.  Thank you.  Do you want to go to the light now?" ................. 'Not yet.'

Chris: "Tyler, I'm seeing images on the screen that look like cells pulling together.  What's going on?" ............. 'Energy'

"So when you get your picture taken, are you actually going into the machine or do you just think it and it happens?" ....................... 'I don't know how it works.'

"Can you ask Mr. Edison?" ....................... 'He's never seen anything like it before.'

Chuck: "Mary, are you here?" ................... 'I'm downstairs.'

"Mary, can we talk to you about the wallpaper samples?" ................... 'You can ask.'

"Do you like this one that I'm holding?" .................. 'No'

"How about the one with the purple flowers?" ................ 'No.  Bad material.'

"How about this one?" ...................... 'No.  The gold flakes.'

"This one has the gold leaves on it with the pink flowers.  This one?" .................. 'It's okay'

"And do you want one of these borders with it?" .................. 'No border.'

"So this one with the little golden leaves and the pink flowers is okay?" ............... 'It's acceptable.'

"Thank you, Mary, for your help." .................. 'Stop talking about it.'

Chris: "Mary, before you go can you get your picture taken?" ................ 'There'

"Thank you, Mary.   Markie are you here?" ................... Markie: 'I'm here.'

"Markie, can you get your picture taken for us?" ................. 'I'll try.'

Chuck: "Thank you that was great.  Is General Ford here?" ....................... 'He's here.'      General Ford: 'I'm here.'

"General Ford, we hung a picture of you upstairs on the landing by Room 5.  Did you see it?" .............. 'No.  Oh, there it is.  That's nice.'

"Do you like it?" .................. 'Yes'

"Can you  get your picture taken for us with this machine?" ................ 'Okay'

"Thank you.  That's great." ....................... 'Got it'

"Is Lewis Mason here tonight?" ....................... no reply

"Is Curtis here tonight?" .......................... no reply

Chris: "I'm going to have to shut down for a minute.  We are going to switch cameras."

Chuck: "Okay, I think we're ready.  Can somebody show yourself so we can do a test?" .......... Ty: 'How's that.'

"That's good.  Thanks. " ................... 'What's up?'

"We switched to Chuck's camera.  The other one was Darcie's camera.  That way two people can review the tapes." ............... 'Oh'

Chris: "I'm seeing too many lines.  I think the camera is not going to work.  Let's go back to Darcie's camera.  It's a hi-def camera."   (We switched back to Darcie's camera.)

Chris: "Ty, are you ready?" ................ 'You cured it.'

"Can you try it so we can make sure it works?" ................... 'Okay'

"I'm seeing a whole different energy pattern.  What did you do?" ............. 'Trust me.'

"Wow.  I saw it, Ty.  How did you do that?" ............... 'I don't know.'

"Can you do it again?" ................. 'Okay'

"It didn't do it that time.  Can you do what you did before?" ............... 'I'll try.  Does it look natural?'    Amanda: 'Yea!'    Harold: 'We're all here.'   (At the bottom of the screen it looked like a mass of people's heads.  Like looking over a crowd.)

Chris: "Wow.  Look at all the heads.  It looks like a concert when all you can see is a mass of heads.   Are all those people here at the Inn?" ...............'Yes'     'Thank you'     'Hi'

Chuck: "Is Curtis here yet?" .................. 'Curtis, yes.  I'm here.'

"Can we get your picture, Curtis?" .............. 'Okay'

"One, two, three." .................. 'I did it.'

"Thank you.  How about Bart?" .................. 'Bart'

"Can we get your picture?" .................. 'Okay'       'Anna'

"Anna, can you do it?" .................. 'I'll try.  Do you see me?'

"Yes." .................... 'I'm moving back and forth.  Do you see my eyes?'

"Yes, we see you moving back and forth." .................. 'Full figure, right here.'

"What color hair do you have?" ....................... 'Brown'

We got pictures of Maria, Joel, Joan, Pete, and more of Amanda, then Chris was getting too tired so we had to turn it off.  Chris was affected by a spirit and he had to leave the building to deal with it.  At the same time, Joy started seeing three little girls twirling around the dining room saying "This is fun!"   Chris came back in a few minutes and he needed a rest so we had to shut down for the night.
