GHU Results Nov 8 and 9, 2008

Chris Moon held another Ghost Hunting University here on Nov. 8 and 9. It was too cold to go up to the cemetery, so we held two "Telephone to the Dead" sessions on Friday night and one on Saturday night. All three sessions were held in Room 5. The following transcripts are from those sessions. I do not transcribe the personal messages.

Friday night, Nov. 8, Room 5, first session:

Chuck � "Harold, last time we talked to you, you said there were seven of you who went on vacation with us to the rides, and you mentioned yourself, Amanda, and Curtis. Who were the other four who went?"......... Harold � 'Anna, Markie, Amanda, Curtis, and ummm, the quack.'

"What does that mean, Harold?".............'Doctor'

"The doctor went?".............' Uh huh'

"And who was the other one?"..............' His wife.'

"Is this Peter, the doctor we talked to before?"...........' Yes, Peter, that�s right.'

"And you said Curtis got lost, who was the other one who got lost?"..............' Amanda'

"Amanda got lost? I thought she went with Jinni?".............' I pulled her back.'

"So did Curtis stay here or go back?".............' Stayed here.' Curtis - 'I had to.'

"Kristin and Dan went on a ride where they were hoisted into the air and then let go like a large swing, did any of you go on that ride with them? ".................. Harold - 'I did.'

"Just you, Harold?"................' It was scary.'

"Amanda, thank you for going on rides with Jinni. She had fun going with you."..........Amanda - 'It was fun.'

"A couple weeks ago we had four ladies staying in Room 5 and one of them saw a face come through the wall, was that you, Harold?"................' Yes. It was great. Good prank. Bart�s here.'

"Hi, Bart. Do you want to say something?"............... Bart -' Hey'

Guest �" What bank did you rob?".................' None of your business.'

"I�m a banker. I want to know. What did you do with the money?"................' Buried it.'

"Where at?"..................' Not telling.'

"Is it still buried or did someone find it?"...............'Not found.'

"Is it buried in this town?".......................' It�s gone.'

"Somebody found it already?"...................' Water got it.'

"Did a flood wash it away or did it fall in the river when you fell in the river?"........... ' Buried it. Water took it.'

Cindi � "The last time I was here, somebody followed me home. Who was that?"......... 'I might have followed you'.

"Who are you?"................' Curtis.'

"It did feel like a man. I told him to go back to the Inn."................' I did.'

Chuck -" Amanda, are you there?"................. Amanda � 'Yes'

"What happened to the ring on the shelf?"......................' I took it '

"It�s been there for two years, why did you decide to take it now?".................' Wanted it. '

"What took you so long?".....................' Wanted to make you think you lost it. '

"It was there for two years."......................' It was just sitting there. '

"Do you want more? Shall I put another one there?"........................' Cool '

"How come you guys use expressions from our time?"........................... Harold � 'That rocks! We hear you.'

Chuck � "Who came into our room and said Joy�s name in her ear?"..............' Me '

"Who�s me?"....................' Sam'

"Who said �Come in�?"..................Sam - ' Kaitlyn'

"Would that be Kaitlyn or Katie?"....................' Kaitlyn . Katie�s three.'

"How old is Kaitlyn?"......................' Twelve '

"And who said �Be Quiet�?"..................'That was Curtis.'

"Who came in the room and played in Jinni�s room?"........................' Twenty of us. You heard us, so we left. '

Guest � "How many spirits are in the room with us right now?"..........................' Thirty'

Chuck � "Who moved the salt and pepper shakers on the table the other day?"...............Harold � 'Josephine'

"Who picked it up?".......................' I did. She pushed it over. Pushed it off the table. I tried to put it back.'

"Is Markie here?"..................Markie � 'Hey. Have you felt me here lately?'

"Not really. I get cold spells, is that what you mean? You haven�t knocked twice."..............Markie �' Yes I have.'

"I must have missed it, sorry.".....................' Listen harder.'

"Hey, Markie, how are you and Amanda getting along? "..........................Markie - 'Perfect' Amanda giggles.

Guest �" Harold, are you going to tap on anybody�s wall tonight?"......................Harold - 'I�ll be tapping. Listen for it.'

(At this point, tapping sounds started in my recorder. These sounds were not heard by anybody in the room, but as I am listening to the recording, I can hear a lot of knocking going on. They are in groups of three, four, and five knocks. It sounds like knuckles on wood. Sometimes far away and sometimes closer. It goes on through the whole rest of the session.)

Joy � "The light bulb in the parlor has been going on and off lately. Is that you or just the light bulb?"

Little girl�s voice giggling � 'You gotta catch me. '

"Who was that?"............................ Harold - 'Katie. Amanda�s chasing her.'

"So what about the light bulb?" ................... Harold � 'I touched it. It went off.'

"That was a pretty good trick.".............................' Yeah, it was. It scared them.'

"You should do some more tricks like that. "............................'I�ll try. '

Guest � "Is someone making me cold right now?".............Harold � 'That�s me. I�m going to smack the wall. Listen for it. '

Chuck � "What did you think of the roof construction that we had here?"............. Harold - 'A mess.' Mary � 'Too loud. '

"Was it too noisy? "................ Mary � 'It was. '

"It�s all better now. We won�t get any more leaks upstairs."..............' I hope they did it right this time. '

Guest � "Is someone taking my energy right now?"....................... Man�s voice - 'Someone, yes. Me. '

Chris - "Say your name so she knows.".....................' Curtis. I�m doing it.'

(There were some personal messages, which I don�t transcribe, and then we closed the session.)

Chris � "Okay, we have to close this session. We�ll be back in a few minutes with the next group. ...........'Okay. We�ll wait for you. '

Second session, Nov. 8, Room 5

Chris � "Are you ready?"................... Harold � 'There�s more this time. Bigger group.'

Guest � "What spirits want my attention tonight?"...............' Five of us.'

"What are your names?" (A list of names was given, Chris did not say them.)

Chris - "There you go. You have to talk to someone specific or you just get them all at once."

Chuck � "Last weekend there were some people in Room 6 doing EVP sessions and they got a man�s voice saying �Help me�, who was that?".................... Man�s voice - 'That was me.'

Chris - "Say your name, please."...................' I�m sorry.'

"That�s okay, can you give us your name please?".................' You�re going to shoot me.'

"Who�s going to shoot you?".....................' He is.'

Chuck - "Do you inhabit the Inn all the time?"...................' Uh huh'

"Can you give us your first name?".....................' Daniel'

"Daniel, do you need someone to take you to the light?"......................' Yes, please.'

"Harold, can you take him to the light?"..................... Harold � 'Markie can. '

"Markie, can you take him to the light now?" ....................Markie � 'He can�t forgive himself. '

"Daniel, what did you do?" .................' I shot her. Shot her in the head. Shot her on the hill. I�m sorry. '

"Do you want to go to the light?".............' Yes. I�m afraid. '

"Markie, can you assist him?"............. Markie � 'Work with me, Daniel. Yes, he�ll go. '

"Can you go tonight?"................... Harold � 'They�re gone. He'll be okay now.'

Guest � "Harold, did you turn off my light last night?"..................' Yeah, I did.'

"Why did you do it?".....................' It was funny. Markie's back.'

Chuck - "Markie, is your task complete? Did Daniel go to the light?"............' Yes. He needed help. '

"He was asking for help. Several people got a �Help me� in their EVPs."............' Yes, it was Daniel. '

"I have another question. In their EVPs someone said �Lay on the floor�, who was that?"....... Girl�s voice � 'That was me. Anna. '

"Anna, why did you want her to lay on the floor?"...................' I wanted her to play with me. '

Guest - "Harold, did you tap on the window last night in Room 6?"........... Harold -' It was, there was two of us. '

"Who was the other one?".................' Amanda, it was funny. '

Chuck � "Harold, can you read the thoughts of people on this side?"................'Sometimes, depends '

"Does it have to be a strong signal or what? "...................' Not easy. I listen to you talk. '

Guest � "Who opened the front door tonight?"...................' Someone handsome. It was me, Harold. '

Chuck � "You are handsome, Harold, we got your picture. I like the curl of hair on your forehead. "................. ........'Yeah. That�s a good one. '

Guest � "Hi, Harold. Do you remember me from before?"...............' Hi. Yeah, I remember you. '

Guest � "Who was knocking on the wall by my bed the last time I was here?".........' That was Johnny. He wanted your attention. '

Chuck � "Does any one know anything about what happened out at the picnic table a few days ago?"................. Harold � 'That was me. '

"What did you do?"........................ No answer.

"You don�t have to admit to everything, Harold, just the things you do."...................' Oh '

"We want you to be honest with us, Harold. Did you have anything to do with the cake and candles? "...................'At the Cottage.'

"Yes, it was in the caboose cottage. Can you tell us what you did ?"...............' Made a mess. '

"I don�t know anything about a mess. It had to do with the candle lighting.".........' Oh. Don�t know anything about that. Wasn�t me. '

Guest � "Harold, was that you bugging me in the cottage down the street earlier today?"............' Wasn�t me. Little kids. '

"Am I going to get my stuff back again? "...........................' No. I doubt it.'

"Are they going to keep opening the door all night long?"................' Definitely. '

Joy � "How many spirits are in that cottage down the street?"................' Eight. '

"How about the (other building) down the street?".................' Sure, Ten. ' (I will not name the building here.)

"Do they reside there full time?".....................' Yes. '

"Are they happy spirits?"......................' Yes. Like it there.'

"How about the Dr. Cowles house?"............' No, not there.'

Guest � "I bought three mirrors today. Are any ghosts going home with me, attached to the mirrors?"....'Yes. '

"How many?".....................' At least three. '

Guest - "Harold, were you playing with my computer earlier?"...............' Yes.'

Chuck � "He admits to everything. They got an EVP of a girl. Do you know who that was?".............' Katie. '

"There was a couple of them. Anybody else? One sounded like a man.".............' Don�t know .'

"There was a man moaning. Who was that?"..............................' Daniel'

Guest � "I took a picture in the caboose today and there is a large orb in there, was that you?".........' Yes. '

"We are in the caboose tonight, will you come out and visit us?"...................'Sure. Watch the lights. '

Chuck � "You can turn on the water for them. That�s a good one.".......................'Yeah, I like that one. '

Guest � "How far under the ground are the slave bodies in the tunnel?"....................' Ask Lewis about that.'

"Is Lewis here?"...........................' Not right now. '

Chuck � "How many sprits are in the Inn these days?"...................'One hundred eleven.'

Chris � "Can you confirm that, Ty?"................... Ty � 'More than a hundred, yes. '

Guest � "Are there any children here who died of Yellow Fever?"..................' Yes. '

Guest � "Harold, are you buried in the cemetery here?"...................' No, not here. '

"Do you know where your body is buried?".....................' No.' (Lots of voices in the background)

Chris � "Ty, how many spirits are trying to talk to us right now?".................. Ty � 'Over two hundred.'.

Guest � "Curtis, are you here?".....................Curtis - 'I'm here.'

"Hi "...............................' Hi '

"Are you going to play any tricks on Harold?"..............' No. Maybe you. I talk to Joy. She hears me.'

Joy � "There was a little boy here last week who invited Curtis to go home with him. Did you go home with him, Curtis?"..................................' No'

"Who kept poking the boy?"....................' Anthony'

"Is Anthony a child or an adult?"....................'Child '

"Does he reside here?".................................' No'

"Did he come with the boy?"...........................' Yes. He wanted attention.'

Chuck � "Did a vortex open here in the Inn that we have so many spirits here?"..........................Harold -'Three.'

"Three vortexes? "............................' Three times, the gate opened three times.'

"No wonder there are so many."...........................' It�s a good place to be.'

Chris � "Okay, we are going to go now. Thank you for talking to us. ".....................Harold � 'Okay. It was fun.'

Various voices say �Bye� �Hi� �Good bye� �Don�t go.�

Session in Room 5 next night.

Chris � "Are you ready, Ty?"................' I am. Cat�s helping. ' (Misty was in the room loving on people.)

"What about Josephine? Is Josephine here in the room too?"............................' She is. She wants attention. '

"Where is she?".................................' On the floor. '

Joy � "The people last night heard a woman�s voice in the hallway. Do you know who that was?" ............. Harold � 'That was Mary. '

"Did you want something, Mary?"..................... Mary - 'Just wanted to say Hello. '

"Did you want to see someone in particular or just everyone?"....................' Just looking. Say hello. '

"Thank you, for looking in on them. ".........................' Thanks, that was nice. '

"Are you going to visit people tonight?"......................' Maybe. '

"It�s okay to open and close their door for them."............................' Oh, okay. '

Chuck � "I have a question for anyone who knows, has Purdy been back to the Inn since her death? Has anybody seen her? ".................................' Yeah, Jinni has. Stays in back. '

"Has Lady been back, too?"........................' Yeah, she likes all the people. '

Guest � "Who keeps taking all my stuff?"...............................' Me, Harold. '

"There�s better ways to get my attention than by taking my stuff. Can you show yourself to me?"................ 'You have my picture. '

Chuck � "Hey, Harold, why don�t you put your face through the wall again. I bet she�d like that!"................ 'That�s a good trick. '

Guest � "No, not that, I don�t want to wet myself. I want to research you, can you give me your last name? ".....................' I�ll tap it for you. '

"I don�t know Morse code. "........................' Oh well. '

"How about automatic writing?"........................' I don�t do that. '

"Why don�t you want me to find out about you?".......................' I don�t know. I'm shy. '

" My daughter, do you remember her? The five year old? "...................' Yeah. '

"She was asking about you. She wants to know what you look like. "........................' Handsome '

"Is there a photograph of you, does any exist anywhere?"......................'Yeah, here at the Inn. '

"Are you referring to the one by Room 3?".....................' Yeah. '

"Are there any of you when you were alive?"........................' How am I supposed to know. '

"Maybe we could find a photo of you if you give us your last name."................' I did. '

"You're messing with us aren't you?"...........................' Yeah. '

Chuck - "We have a group of people here tonight who want to spend some time with you tonight. Especially the gentleman in Room 5. You don�t have to wait till they're in bed to visit them, you know."..............' I know. '

Joy � "There was a lady in this room last night who felt something cold on her leg. What was that?".......'Cat. '

"Josephine was on her leg?"................................' Yes. '

"Is Bart here tonight? "...........................' Yes. '

"Do you want to say hi to anybody here tonight, Bart?"................................Bart - ' No. '

"How much money did you take?".........................'I don't know. Two or three thousand. '

"That was a lot of money back then."........................' Yep. '

"Why did you do it?"........................' Needed it. '

"Didn�t you know you�d get caught?".........................................' No. '

"Did you actually think you�d get away with it?"..........................' I hoped so. '

Guest � "Is Arthur here tonight? Did he follow us back from the bridge?"................ Harold � 'He�s outside watching. '

Chuck � "Is there anybody here who wants to say hi to us for the first time?"....................... Man's voice � 'Hi '

"Hi, what�s your name?"............................'Dale '

"Are you a full time spirit here, Dale? ".............................'No '

Guest � "What�s the attraction here? Why are so many here at the Inn?".................. Ty � 'They built a union. '

Chuck - "A union? Do you hold meetings?"....................' Sometimes. '

"Can anybody be in your union?"......................' No. '

"Who�s the president of your union?"................... Harold � 'I am. '

"Did a vortex open here tonight?"............................. Ty - 'Yes '

"How many times did it open?"............................' One time. There�s only forty here tonight. '

Guest � "Is that the same as worm holes?".................' No. it�s different. Vortex is a light. '

Chuck � "When you go through the vortex, do you travel the speed of light?"........................' Yes. '

"So time speeds up for you in the vortex?"...............................' There is no time. '

Guest - "Is there any sound in the vortex?"................................... Harold � 'Yeah, screaming. '

Chuck � "Dale, are you still here?".............. Dale - 'I am. '

"What year did you die, Dale?"...................' Don�t know. '

"Did you die here in Bentonsport?"...........................' Clearly. Yeah. Out in the street. '

"What was your last name, Dale?"..........................' He shot me. He wanted to fight. '

"What was the fight about?"......................' It�s a woman. Somebody vomited. '

"Do you have the date that somebody shot you?"..................' June 15th it was. Shot in the back. '

"Do you know the year?"..............................' No. Saloon. '

"Was it in the Inn? The Inn�s tavern?".....................................' Out in the street. '

"Right across from the bridge here?".....................' That's right. '

"Do you know the name of the person who shot you?"...... (Chris couldn�t make it out.) 'No one knew him. Passing through.' Another man�s voice - 'You were being too loud in the bar. Couldn�t hear the music over him. '

"Dale, do you have a last name we could use to find out more about the story?".............' Turner. '

"Your name was Turner?"......................' No, he shot me. Turner. '

"What was your last name?".................. (Chris couldn�t make it out, something like Mano.) 'How would you feel? '

"We�re sorry you got shot, we just want to find out more about you and what happened to you."................... 'Well, I don�t like to talk about it. '

"Are you still earthbound, Dale?".....................' Clearly, I�m here. '

"Do you want to go to the light? Do you know what that is?".....................' I know. Can�t go. '

"Do you want some help going to the light?".............................' No. Can�t go. '

Chris � "Ty, keep Dale around and if he wants to go to the light, let me know and we can help him. "...........................Ty � 'Okay. '

Guest � "When I was walking down the street, who was following me?"......................Harold � 'Could have been anybody. '

"Did someone from the house across the street follow me?".........................' No. They don't come out.'

Another guest - "I got some orbs on the bridge, who was that? "..................' There�s several. Hard to tell. They like the water. '

Another guest - "Who came to visit me last night when I walked out to my car?".................Harold - ' Amanda. She passed right by you.'

"Any body else?"..................' We were watching you. '

"Am I going to get my keys back?".................' Come outside and stand in the street. '

"And get run over?"......................' Trust me. '

"How long do I have to stand there before I get my keys back. "......................' Days. '

"Are they in the caboose?".......................' Plop. That's what will happen. Watch for it. '

"Will they fall out of the sky?".....................' Something like that.'

Guest � "Who�s the spirit who keeps touching my thumb?"....................................' Amanda is by you. '

"Is Patricia here?".......................' Not yet. Wait, she�s here now. '

"Patricia, am I glowing?".....................' Yes. You�ll definitely hear from me. '

"I�ll be waiting."...............................' Okay. '

Guest - "Harold, what do you like?"..................' Poetry. '

"Do you mean music?".....................' Yes. '

"Do you want me to play you some music?".....................' Make it the right one. '

Chris � "We�re going to go now. Thanks everyone."............................. ' Bye Chris. '
